THE HEART SUTRA

This sutra should always be meditated at the end of saddhana at least 1x a week on the second day of the light of wisdom, after asking the Master Kukai and Kwan Yin of wisdom that enables it to understand it and live it fully.

Heart Sutra

OM, homage to the venerable perfection of wisdom!

The bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara, in deep meditation Prajna Paramita
clearly saw the emptiness of the nature of the five aggregates
and freed from pain.

O Shariputra, form is nothing but emptiness,
Emptiness is no other than form;

Form is precisely emptiness,
emptiness precisely form.
Sensation, perception, reaction and consciousness
are also well.

O Shariputra, all things are expressions of emptiness.
Not born, not destroyed, not defiled, not pure,
No growth or decline.
So in emptiness there is no form,
Sensation, perception, reaction or conscience;
There are no eyes, ears, nose, tongue, body, mind;
No color, sound, smell, taste, touch, object;
There is no field of vision or field of consciousness;
There is no ignorance, no end of ignorance.
There is no old age and death or cessation of old age and death;
There is no suffering, no cause of suffering.
There is no path, no wisdom nor profit.

Unprofitable - so Bodhisattvas live this Prajna Paramita
No obstacles in mind.
Unhindered and so fearless.
Far beyond the illusions, Nirvana is here.
All Buddhas past, present and future live this Prajna Paramita
And reach supreme, perfect enlightenment.

So you should know that Prajna Paramita is the sacred mantra;
the mantra of great wisdom, the best mantra.
The bright mantra, the supreme mantra,
The incomparable mantra
That dispels all suffering.
This is true.
So practice the mantra of the Prajna Praramita
Practice this mantra and proclaim:

GATE GATE BODHI PARAGATE Parasamgate SVAHA!

This completes the Heart of the Perfection of Wisdom Venerable.
